Paul Harris Photo

Paul Harris, Business Development Director

Paul joined the company in January 2004 bringing with him a wealth of experience in opening up new routes to market as well as high-level contract negotiation. Formerly from the telecoms industry, Paul has held board positions in seven medium-sized companies covering sales and marketing responsibilities as well as assuming overall control of those firms.

During his time in telecoms, Paul successfully managed the commercial discussions on behalf of IPM Spa which culminated in the company taking control of the street payphone business operated by Mercury Communications. The new company, IPM Communications PLC, was the first non-PTT in the UK to acquire a public operating licence.

During 2002, whilst serving on the board of CreditCall, Paul secured a deal with Travelodge to develop a pay-movie system that would operate over the existing telephone infrastructure. He then negotiated a contract with NEC to install the product in over 14,000 hotel rooms.

During his time at Tripleplay, Paul has been responsible for building the sales channels in many countries and sectors including education, hospitality, retail and residential. He considers the relationship between supplier, reseller and the end customer very important and that supporting the reseller is the most valuable sales tool available. This approach has resulted in Tripleplay becoming a leading provider of IP-based media solutions.
